Lovely restaurant, amazing staff, and fantastic food! Only thing is it would be really good to know about the splitting the check only into two payments at the start, even if it's just a table a 4, they could all be individually there. Will be back, but just better prepared for the check, haha!

My significant other and I had an amazing time at Shinmai this evening! The smoked salmon carbonara udon and sukiyaki Linguine was excellent and service was amazing as usual!
Love shinmai kumo! Been already been here three times and have had great food and staff interactions each time! The fusion options are unique, tasty, and well done! Karaage is fried to perfection. Porridge is soothing. The kobocha salad hits all the right notes! Highly recommended place!
We came for dinner on a Sunday evening. Tried the edamame, a salad, flatbread, baked shrimp, two lattes, and two pasta dishes. All tasted good, but nothing stood out to us as something to come back for. There is 3% added for credit cards and 20% tip automatically added for groups of 5 or more. I think the reason we won't come back is that the price of some of the items seemed very high for what you get, compared to other local restaurants.
