Usually love this place. Today, not so much. It's petty, I know, but here goes. We went for brunch. Felt bad for the waiter as he seemed to be new and couldn't comprehend what we were ordering off the menu. Toast was included in my order and I asked if I could get the sourdough instead of regular bread. He said the chef doesn't like changes to the menu. I said, can you just see if it's possible? My first visit to Shine was very nice, excellent food, good service, 2nd visit recently, last weekend of August 2026 was very disappointing, took too long to be acknowledged, greeted and to place dinner order, sat at the bar so no excuse to ignore patrons. Bartender was very friendly to his friends, made a big deal of being the “mixologist”! Everything was amazing. Some of the best Ravioli I ever ate!
Worst crab cakes that I have ever had. To much bread . Couldn't taste the crab. Part of the Cuban had no meat between the bread. Restaurant was too noisy.
