We have now eaten at Shimogamo twice, and my husband said it was the best shrimp tempura he has ever had - both times! The service is incredibly gracious; I am the original PITA customer, and they took care of my every need. I love the vegetable soup made with tamari (my head, joints, and tummy thank you), as well as the beautiful plates of sashimi and tuna rolls. We will be back soon for more.
The sushi, sashimi and entrees at Shimogamo are the absolute best Japanese food you will find in Arizona. This charming restaurant would hold its own in LA or San Francisco. The service is delightful and this is a "go to" restaurant that never disappoints. This delightlful restaurant has been welcoming its loyal patrons for over a decade. Make a reservation and enjoy!
