Bought brand new shimano intenza spinning rod. Butt broke off. Mailed it back for warranty. They never even reached out. After a month I called. They had rejected my warranty claim. They said it broke because it looked as if it were in a rod holder trolling. I do not own a rod holder. I have a bass boat. There are no rod holders. Shimano NRX Fishing Rod warranties are terrible. It's a $650.00 fishing with practically no warranty. They wanted the defective rod, Reel Seat bad, shipped back to them. At 7 feet this was $500.00 in shipping. The guides were bad so I broke the rod to 4 feet and shipped back to them . Shipping was $59.00. They told me that they would give me half credit.
