I called to set up a reservation and the front desk women was very rude over the phone not willing to help what so ever every question I asked followed by a long pause and more attitude I decided to take by business elsewhere shilo you need retrain you're front desk employee or find someone who's willing to do there job.
I had a reservation for a few nights for a business trip as I went to check-in the lady at the front desk was extremely rude you can she has very little if any customer service experience other than that stay at the shilo was very nice all the other employees were very nice and helpful over all the shilo inn 5 stars and the extremely rude employee -1star
I've been staying at this hotel for years and find it to have a personable atmosphere unlike the other 'cookie cutter' big chain hotels of these days. Just next to great sea food restaurant, and bar, also close to many other good places to eat. They accept pets and has a large grassy area for them.
My first room stank of smoke, saw 3 other rooms, took the best of them. Still had a musty smell. I checked out next morning instead of completing my stay. Washers/dryers broken, was told there was pastries for breakfast, there was none. The grounds are great, the hotel itself needs a lot of TLC! Fresh carpets would likely go a long way. Staff were very friendly, and did there best to accommodate!
They advertise pool spa..steam room amd suana..and none them are working. Could have stayed in a Quality im down the street for 50 bucks less. Bait and switch. Save your money
