I received this hotel recommendation from my father as I had a dental appointment in Los Algodones. The hotel is lovely and the staff is very kind. The key card didn't work at first but when I went back to the front desk, it was remedied quickly. The rooms are comfy and the grounds are very pretty and well kept. Prices this time of year were very affordable as well. Stayed 2 nights. Would recommend!!!
The reason I am giving a one star is the pool, sauna, ice machine everything is was out of order. The towels are only two small ones one shampoo and conditioner for two people. It is not breakfast it's continental just juice and muffins, an apple, nutrigrain or nature valley crunchy. We stayed here for the pool and they had no idea when it would be available luckily we only booked for a day.
Dont know when the pic of the 'clean ' pool was taken . Its greener than the grass. Wont let me post pic on reviews.
Shilo Inn used to be our #1 choice for a place to stay in Yuma, as far back as 2012. Friendly staff, great location, good prices. excellent full breakfasts, nice large rooms, and a huge clean pool. Sadly, everything but the staff has changed since Covid. For breakfast, you now have a choice of two different small pre-packaged muffins and a pot of coffee, if you get to the lobby before 9 am. Love the pool area it’s a good hotel the mall is there as well so the location is great just the room aren’t so clean it needs a little bit of work its a little old the workers are very nice had a great time being there 2 days
