It's right beside the snake river. Has a path that connects with the trail. Rooms are a bit dated as are the carpets throughout but the pool and hot tub were crystal clear. Breakfast was hit and miss but sufficient. I'd stay here again. We extended our stay a couple of days.
I came to this hotel and the vending machines were out of bottled water. I asked the gentleman at the front counter who is in his early 20s shaggy black hair. I asked Is there anywhere else I can purchase water he said go drink the water from your sink it’s filtered. What’s the problem he said !!! definitely awful customer service from the front desk. Love the staff support friendly. Love the food. Great location right next to the snake river. Dog friendly. Would recommend to those looking for a nice atmosphere. Pool and hot tub perfect temperature.
We stayed at the Shilo on our way to the Tetons and it was so nice we came back on our way back thru. Clean, comfortable rooms, the staff is out of this world, and the breakfast was table service hot fresh food!! It reminded us of how the hospitality industry was in the late 80s. It was fabulous we will be back anytime we are near.
Arrived very late at hotel and they were more than accommodating. Great value for the rooms price.
