Went for a craft show
This Shilo Inn is poorly maintained. So sad to see this once awesome Inn fall to this state of disrepair. Access doors from parking lot to hallways don't lock at night. I have stayed at other Shilo Inns with a much better experience.
We booked several rooms for a conference for about 80-90 attendees. Several of our attendees said they went to Wal-Mart to buy cleaning supplies to clean their rooms after checking in becauae they were dirty. 2 of our attendees said the thermostats were broke and heaters were stuck on high heat, 1 attendee said her hair dryer in room was broken, another said walls in room were extremely dusty and dirty. We will not be booking rooms here again.
The location is convenient, near other hotels and a couple restaurants. There is no room service. They don't come make your bed or bring you fresh towels. The rooms are dark and outdated. There were spider webs in the corner of the ceiling. It is just somewhat rundown and isn't kept up very well.
Absolutely disgusting rooms. Bathrooms are molded. Rooms are NOT clean.
