RecommendedSavage prefits are extremely accurate and can be bought blued. I dont know of any other premium barrel that can be bought blued.

Best barrels I’ve ever had. With proper, environmentally considerate, load development, I’m getting 1 hole groups. More often than not, the 5 shot groups look like 1 shot. I don’t know what could be better, and possible.

I have 2 Shilen barrels, just shot the second one this morning to break it in. This is a savage prefit chambered in 6.5 CM, 7 twist. With factory 147 ELD match I shot a .711” group at 200 yards with less than perfect support. Wasn’t expecting that during break in, the gun barrel doesn’t even have 20 rounds through it yet. Can’t wait to see what this thing will do with better support and hand loaded Ammo. I have been nothing short of impressed with the tubes that Shilen has put in my hands. Awesome group of people as well!
