RecommendedGreat Japanese staples including grilled fish, enough items on the menu to find options without gluten. Most sashimi, maki rolls, entrees and appetizers without imitation crab, soy sauce, panko etc contain no gluten ingredients. There's possiblity for cross contamination in kitchen but that's a normal risk of most restaurants.
Best most authentic Japanese food I can find ! The food is amazing! Having been to japan this is the closest I’ve come to authentic Japanese food.
We have been going to Shiki for years. They have the best sushi in Rochester. We’ve eaten sushi in Toronto, New York, and in several cities in Japan. Shiki’s sushi is better than any US restaurant we’ve been to. It compares favorably to the best places we visited in Japan. Keep it up, Shiki!
So nice to have authentic Japanese comfort food. We drive an hour to get there and it is well worth it. My husband now feels he can really eat the comfort foods (his mother raised him on) and live in the Finger Lakes with his gaijin wife.
