Terrible company to work for. There are no live people to talk to when you have an issue and trust me, you will have issues. The highest paying shifts they only post after the shift has started to ensure you won’t get there in time so they can dock your pay. And if you show up for an orientation shift but the lead doesn’t and the app says “our bad, go on home and we will pay you anyway”, that’s a lie. So now that I’m familiar with how the place works I actually love it. They actually party if you show up and if there’s work-get to know the system and what’s expected for speedy pay, it’s actually super accurate and fair and dependable. It’s getting me through a rough time and unlike flex I’m not stressed at all when I have a shift. The only thing I think that is lacking is proper training.
This app is difficult to get a hold of customer service support. They claim that they paid me but it’s not showing in my account of the app and I am having a problem getting a hold of anyone to solve the problem.
SCAM!!! I worked a shift and did everything they asked. They erased the entire history of the shift saying I never showed up. I never got paid and it's been over a month. I filed a claim with Circle K. There's no one to talk to at ShiftSmart.
