Went in to get a new tube for my bike and he even filled my tire up for free when I was done changing it! Super helpful, all the things you'll need to get your bike ready for riding :) Definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out!
We rented bikes here this past weekend to ride the Capital Trail and had a great experience. There is an all-day $5 parking lot directly across from the shop and the trailhead is about 3 blocks away. The equipment was top-notch and the service and guidance were marvelous with the owner taking personal care of our questions. Will definitely visit Shift Bicycles again when we're in Richmond.
Shift is a super friendly, extremely helpful, awesome local shop! Glenn's an all-star! I came in with an awkwardly big bike bag, my racing bike, and my fingers crossed that one would fit in the other. Somehow, magically, he made it happen. Will be returning with the many mechanical quirks of the other three household bikes soon!
Loved it! Glen was amazing and helped my Mom and I rent 2 bikes for an amazing 30 mile ride on the Capital Trail! I will definitely be coming back!
We rented bikes from Glen for a ride down the Capital Trail. He went out of his way to accommodate our schedule. He took time to assist us in bike setup and did everything he could to assure a great experience. I recommend Shift to anyone looking to do a bike ride in Richmond.
We had a wonder ful day renting and riding your hybrid cyles and received great advice for food and ffun sites to see. Also the HI hostel would like to share your information and promote yyour business. Just drop off business cards or brochures and maybe off er discounts to hostel guests :)
We test rode the cargo electric assist bike and it was so much fun! I barley noticed the hills even carrying 2 kids! Service was super friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this bike shop!
