RecommendedIt was much better than the other two I had at South Shore hospital. The tube to much shorter and wider and opened on both ends. I was able to go in feet first. A much more pleasant way to get an MRI. They were quick to book my appointment and quick getting the results back to the doctor. Highly recommend this place.
Loved it as much as anyone can "love" an MRI. The staff at this office was friendly, professional and excellent at putting me at ease. They tech and the doctor both clearly explained the arthrogram procedure and explained the MRI procedure and what to expect. I was able to go feet first into the wide (open) tube and my head was out so it was not overpowering. This office and procedure was much better than I ever anticipated. If MRI (with arthrogram) are needed, I would recommend this office.
MRI went well! Better than expected. :-) I HIGHLY recommend Shields MRI in Weymouth!!!!! The tube is shorter and wider than regular MRI tubes, AND they let me go in feet first, which makes a WORLD of difference (very little claustrophobia this time!) Their staff are so friendly, courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable! They made what could have been a harrowing experience totally bearable. Thank you Shields!
These newer open MRI machines are wonderful for claustrophobic people!
