I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of helping others make an informed decision. I hired this company to install a fireplace, and unfortunately, the process was frustrating from start to finish. After paying the down payment, Shields completely shifted in their approach. The serviceman was great, work done quickly with all around good
"Ken" came to fix & clean our gas fireplaces. He did a great job & informed us of a problem with pilot valve. Repaired & all working well. Also, he was very courteous & friendly!
The Shields staff was wonderful from start to finish. The administrative staff of Darren, Cindy and Stacey, were great to work. Their installers Ken, Mason and Nick did an excellent job throughout. They were neat, clean, very thorough and worked well together. They explained what they were doing and communicated with us during every step of the installation process.
