Kendra is an absolute delight! She is always helpful and has a refreshing smile. After years of big pharmacy companies messing up prescriptions, being hateful and unhelpful I switched to Shields, and it is wonderful! I love going In there, it's a pleasant and warm atmosphere and it feels great to support a small local business, I HIGHLY recommend them!
Shields Family Pharmacy is EXACTLY what a pharmacy should be. The staff is super friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help. They even special ordered something for me a few months ago. I told them i hated for them to order it just for me, and was afraid that I might not like it, once I saw it in person. To them, it was no problem at all! They offered to let me return it if I didn't like it. I'll never go anywhere else!

I had to use a chain pharmacy after local LeClaire closed. I was happy to hear another local pharmacy was opening so checked them out last week. Super friendly staff who actually greeted me and helped me with my many questions. Unlike a certain chain that treats you like an annoyance for actually asking a question or needing a medicine, the people at Shields truly care and are members of our community.
