We hired SHIELD to handle our 2024 hail damage repairs, and while the work is finally complete, the experience was incredibly frustrating. The primary issue was a total lack of professional communication. The hail storm in 2024 damaged houses and it was like a war zone. Everyone scrambled for help. Shield quickly scheduled workers to repair our roof to prevent leaking and set us at ease. They upgraded our roof with hail-resistant materials. The workers who worked our sidings were wonderful and fixed other minor damages that were caused by my weed trimmer. Horrible company to work with. Sales persons made empty promises and cannot deliver (multiple, seems to echo some of the other low star reviews, that they cannot keep people). Hired ahem to do hail repair and the shed is still not done till now (almost 2 years).
I will never recommend anyone to have anything to do with this company (Shield Roofing & Exteriors). if here is a way I can rate them as zero, I will, they do not deserve 1 star. I contracted them to fix my home more than a year ago, during the sales process, the owner was all over me, calling and promising heaven and earth. I thought they were credible so I gave them the contract. They used rookie trade do my job, what they fixed is always falling apart, I had to call them.
