Shield Bearer also makes it a priority to provide services to accommodate the unique concerns of veterans who have given so much for us.
I know firsthand how wonderful this organization is as I have referred several people here and each was extremely satisfied with the services received for them and their families. I have been a volunteer board member the past few years but only after getting to know the people of Shield Bearer and hearing the testimonies of many clients. Please spread the word to anyone needing help with the struggles of life. Shield Bearer is there for them and helps hurting hearts in our community and beyond.
Excellent counselors who never turn anyone away based on inability to pay. Awards for transparency in financial records, something very rare or nonprofit organizations. They offer resources for our community like I’ve never seen anywhere else.

Shield bearer provides compassionate professional care to individuals and families in our community, regardless of ability to pay. They touch the lives of 16000 annually through their counseling services, prevention programs, and support groups.
