I went to Shida for a silk press and a trim. I had no issue placing the $80 deposit, that’s standard these days. I arrived on time for my appointment but still had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. Okay, fine-I understand delays happen. While Shida was friendly, the quality of service was extremely disappointing. The silk press left my hair feeling greasy and weighed down nothing like the smooth, flowy result I’m used to. My ends definitely needed trimming, but the front of my hair was cut unevenly. Great cut. Modern clean salon. Very good pricing. Good customer service. Ready at my appointment time. Skilled barber. Very good experience.
