I called in and set up an appointment for nails only today (then they asked me if I wanted a pedicure, and I agreed to that as well…). I picked out a dark color, almost a purple from what I saw on the nail colors… As the tech starts to paint, I called out the bright fuschia. The tech then tells me’ “Well that’s just because the white base is different than on your nails” .. 🤦♀️ Anyway I leave it. It goes darker but it’s a red. It’s not a neutral dark plum. Been going here for years - pretty much since the day they opened shop, referred numerous friends who are loyal longtime clients, but the new found arrogance is unreal. The owner yelled at me (in front of my 5 year old) because I was 1 minute later than their 5 min window even though I called them in advance to inform them that I was stuck in traffic on 202. Got a pedicure. Service was very rushed. Had to finish what they left behind at home. Polish looked ok.
I’ve had a few pedicures here and they are always fantastic. Took my mom here for mother’s day and we were so happy with the service for our pedicures! However the last two times I’ve gotten manicures, they have both been super disappointing. The first was a gel manicure that looked okay initially but started peeling on vacation within 2-3 days. Very quiet salon. No excessive chatter. No one loudly taking on their phone. It is wonderful. We've never had to wait when we've made appointments or walk in. The massage chairs add to the calming experience. Very large selection of colors in numerous brands. Technicians so a great job massaging, shaping and painting nails.
