Very dismissive when provided evidence that correlate with ANA antibodies. This Dr would not listen to symptoms or to bloodwork SHE ORDERED and when it was abnormal she insisted it was normal. I left with no dx. I have Osteoporosis, Ostopenia, bones of a 100+ Things she deals with. However an ANA DOUBLED KIDNEY FUNCTION BELOW NORMAL SEEMED FINE. Dr. Shetty is behind her times in diagnosising and treating Lyme disease. She has a cold bedside manner and no time for your questions. If you're looking for compassion, this isn't the rheumatologist for you.
I was a patient of Dr Shetty but I will never go back. At my last visit I had questions concerning treatment that she wanted me to have and after about 10 minutes with her she told me she couldn't answer anymore of my questions because she had other patients waiting. Terrible way to treat your patients. I am now looking for a new rheumatologist.
I would give Dr. Shetty five stars, as she has an excellent way about her, but her front desk is awful. There is a woman who is nasty to the patients and she makes going to the doctor visits unpleasant and stressful. There is only one elevator in the building and it is frequently out of service. This is not acceptable for a Rheumatologist who serves an elderly population.
