My son (under 10 years old) has been struggling with more than just average ADHD, so we met with Dr. Sheth. He was attentive, listened to both of us, and gave good insights. He’s been my psychiatrist i want to say around 3-4 years. He’s very dismissive. he questioned my style choice as a costume at one point and asked me what was the reason in a very backhanded way- i opened up about a new hobby of graphic novels to which he said “that’s not real reading” despite my excitement which was invalidating. i was hospitalized around mid last year where doctors were suggesting i ask for new medication which i’ve been trying to persist for a good while due to feeling like it wasn’t working. my mom and au... read more
In the beginning he showed intrest in what my son was saying to him. But that changed after the 3-4 visit then he went to staring at his computer. On visit I was explaining something that I thought he should know and in the middle of me talking he picked up the phone and asked about his appointments for the day.
I cannot get through on the phone!! Ive tried calling and its a busy signal!!!
We had a excellent experience. Dr. Sheth is to the point, understands any situation very easily and his experience over the years clearly reflects. We are only too glad that we have him in our lives.
Dr. Sheth was over 30 minutes to my appointment today. I was so frustrated by the 30 minute mark that I just left and didn't go back. He has also been late to every other appointment by around 10-15 minutes. He never seems interested in what you're saying and comes off as very rude when you talk to him. He also never talks during appointments. It's as if he's there to sign your prescription form and send you on your way without any interest in engaging in conversation or listening to you. The most awful and apathetic doctor. Please don’t go to him. I told him about my adhd and depression. He prescribed me two medications that aren’t supposed to go together and when I told him that the dosage isn’t working for me he prescribed me a different medication. I went to go pick it up for they had a hold so after a week for waiting for my meds I called my pharmacy and they told me he said that he wasn’t going to release the medication because I need to wait for the dosage to be in full effect. Dr Sheth has helped me alot in the last year. I feel comfortable talking to him, and he always reviews my file thouroughly to make sure he checks on everything in my life that could be stressors. He provided me with the medication dosage I need and has increased it when I felt I needed an increase. His appointments are fast but i do not feel they are rushed. was no help at all and claimed he couldn’t help me. he barely listened to any of my concerns and would only continue to repeat “yeah i can’t help you” . i told him how i was feeling and he only scared me even more telling me i would have a seizure. i told him i went for him for help but didn’t actually listen to my concerns that i had already explained the first appointment.
