Update: Now that some time has past I wanted to share that despite the experience with this company, we were able to find another local hospice company to care for my wife for her remaining time. Nurses showed up and actually helped. They treated my wife like she was family. They bathed her with dignity, not trying to cut her clothes off on our couch in our living room with people around like this company did. The whole experience was a nightmare. My wife was discharged from hospital to home hopice for terminal cancer. Upon her arriving none of the equipment did. She needed to use the restroom that night and in our lack of ability we dropped her on the floor. When I called for help I was told call 911. Things just got worse from there. In all we were with this company for 5 days and all we received were words and sales pitches of promises for care. All we got were RN’s who would call back or visit to look and do nothing. Our family would like to thank all of the staff, RN’s, everyone who took great care of our dad, and family during his time at the Hospice house. They showed great care, kindness, and kept my father comfortable. Thank you again, The Stephens and Farmer Family
My mom is there now. The staff is absolutely awesome. During this time of difficulty my family and myself are convinced this was the best choice. This isn’t ez but there is no other options and we are at peace. Oh Lord thank you for this facility staff and option. God bless you all. We have tried everything hospitals, snf, Alf, in home, at my home, at my siblings home, hospice is a wonderful solution to a very difficult time. Love to u all.
