My visit with Sherrie brought tears to my eyes! I've never worked with a doc who was so respectful and thorough! She asks great questions and took the time to go through the entire history of my injuries body, something I've never experienced. Her assumption was always that I was smart as she dove deep into the many images from x-rays and MRIs, offering explanations and different courses of acton at each step!
Dr Ballentine misdiagnosed me, ignored my messages for over a month when I asked her to change a medication, and didn't speak to me in a respectful tone. She quite literally told me I don't know how to use my body. It turns out I have femoral acetabular impingements and acetabular retroversion, all of which are congenital and have nothing to do with me not using my body correctly. I am so glad I went somewhere else.
Dr. Ballantine is probably the best physician I have ever had. She is kind, caring and personable. She is also an excellent diagnostician and solved a hip problem a few years ago which had been preventing me from walking for months. She really listens to your input. Most recently, she was able to restore mobility in my lower back and hip that I incurred while moving from one house to another - within 24 hours! Dr. Sherrie Ballantine-Talmadge and her staff are exceptional. Their blend of professionalism and personal attention made me feel genuinely heard and understood. Dr. Ballantine's depth of knowledge is impressive, and she is prompt in explaining the next steps for my treatment. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure I grasp the nature of my injury and emphasizes not just treatment, but also prevention.
