Anyone shopping for a new or used boat can't do better than buying from Sherm. He and his staff are professional, friendly, responsive and fast. Prices are very reasonable for what you get especially if what you want is total commitment to customer service. I drove a couple hundred miles one way to buy my dream boat and have since cheerfully driven the trip a couple times so he could store and service my boat. He's the best, I feel lucky to have found him.
I ordered/bought my dream boat, Yar Craft 209tfx from Sherm at the Indy Boat Show. I bought all the bells and whistles, too. $60K+ decision. Now, 2 years later, I couldn't be more satisfied with my boat, Sherm, his staff and his services. I drive hundreds of miles one way to have only Sherm maintain and upgrade my boat. Reliable, fast friendly service.
The day came that I needed to repower my old Ranger. A friend suggested I check with Sherm at Sherms Marine. Im so glad I did. I ordered a new Mercury and Sherm received it earlier than expected. Marrying up a 1997 Ranger and a 2018 Mercury motor was a bit tricky. Sherm and the crew worked through all the snafus and in the end the install is 100% professional. I went to Sherm's after he was highly recommended from several folks I fished with for a new Bass Cat. It was my first new boat purchase and Sherm was extremely helpful in finding the best options for my use for the price I wanted to pay. He was also very patient with me throughout the process and I never felt pressured. The boat was delivered clean and tournament ready! I had a number things wrong with my Mercury engine and took it to a local Mercury service shop. After digging into it a bit, they told me it would be some obscene amount of money to fix...It was like half the cost of a new engine (250 ProXS). That's when I found Sherm. I made the 7 hour drive and left it there over the winter. Picked it up last week, and it is like new again, at a fraction of the cost.
