Beware! I went in for a prescription for contact lenses. Dr. Sherman said, "I'm going to put some drops in your eyes." I didn't think it was for refraction because I hadn't had a vision test yet and he didn't ask me if I wanted refraction, nor did he discuss the risks. Next thing I know my vision is blurry and his assistant is doing all kinds of tests I didn't need. My eyes were so blurry that I was unable to have a vision exam and was nervous getting home, that's how blurry it was.
