Years ago my wife had hip surgery there. Found out later that it was the same team of surgeons that would have operated on her at the far larger Tarzana hospital. Operations flawless.
They just sent me my first bill (not marked late) from a visit 3 years ago citing no insurance. I remember the incident and of course gave me insurance but I don’t have that insurance anymore so no way they will pay! This seems illegal. Calling Monday.
I have never been admitted to this hospital !!!!

I would rather lose an arm than return to this hospital. Not only was the care abysmal, the billing department is beyond a joke. The website doesn’t work, the automated phone system doesn’t work and yet, they have the gall to mail my father in Massachusetts a final notice. I have tried repeatedly to pay, but they’re failed system won’t let me. A true trash hospital.
I have never in my life had more problems with a billing department than I have had with Sherman Oaks Hospital. The online bill payment completely doesn’t work and the automated phone billing has given me problems every time I have used it. On my most recent call to them I was told that there was nothing they or I could do and that it would take about a month after each payment for the bill to be updated. No one has ever made it so hard for me to give them money.
