Scott helped us with a contested adoption, and he clearly has a lot of expertise in this area. The outcome was superb and without him the judge would have made a wrong decision; with tact he helped make sure the adoption code/law was followed. He showed kindness to all including the opposite party. Scheduled meetings were helpful since communication between meetings is limited.
Scott Sherlund was a deeply disappointing and unprofessional attorney. In hindsight, he could have been easily replaced by AI and the outcome would have likely been better. He was unprepared, difficult to communicate with, and overall useless when it came to handling my case. Jeff Van Meter one of the associate lawyers is very unperfessional .. He doesn't return your calls and isn't very efficient...
Loved working with Amy Preston to resolve a land contract issue.
