So many items were neglected and not reported. The inspector might as well have been working for the builder instead of us. Items missed: unlevel floors in hallway, kitchen, and dining area, hot and cold water reversed in master bath, nearly a dozen electrical outlets faultily installed, to name a few items- all potential safety hazards - in addition to cosmetic issues. We depended on and put faith in the inspector’s expertise. Had we known of so many issues we would have postponed our closing. We are very disappointed!

I hired them to do an inspection on a home I was purchasing! Several (and important) things that were not picked up during the inspection/due diligence! Simple light switches didn’t work (turn on or off) which amounts to several hundred dollars to repair and dishwasher and washing machine! Dishwasher lights came on during the inspection, but didn’t drain at the end of the cycle (homeowner had already moved out. No one living in the home when the inspection occurred). Very poor communications, insisted on text only. Inexperienced inspector rushed inspection and missed several items. Focus was on getting done and getting report out.

I am a local realtor and have used sherlock twice now for my clients inspections. Derek is my tech of choice . He is very thorough and the price can't be beat. A detailed report and easy to understand and will go over things that people might not know much about.
