On May 29th I had surgery for a sebaceous cyst. It had never bothered me prior to the surgery. I chose the surgery because of the lump in my upper back which I wanted removed in order to feel comfortable wearing lighter colored tops. One week after surgery, the swelling was still there. If you care about your health and want transparent and thorough care do not visit this surgeon . During 2 visits he didn’t provide a visit wrap up and did not review the patient’s medical history before scheduling for surgery. We still have no documentation to support what he stated during the visits nor was it captured that she needs a biopsy done. I used Dr. Selim 3 years ago for a partial mastectomy. He was excellent. He explained everything prior to and after my procedure. The incision was done so well that not even my PCP can tell that a procedure was done. Thank you Dr. Selim would definitely use you again for any procedure that I or family member may need.
I had my procedure done on Thursday and I have yet to get information about my surgery. I wasn’t told what to expect and when I looked at the results it seemed to be the same before I had my surgery. I was told that it’s swelling and that it was going to go away. I’ve called his office several times because I couldn’t get my prescription filled and I was told to take Motrin 800. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had. Moving forward I will do my research.
He is very disrespectful has actually cause me to have panic attacks and Lee and shaking and I was eight days post-surgery in the didn't even tell me what what was really done and how the surgery really wet I had an open hernia incisional surgery and I literally had no clue before my surgery he only spent 15 minutes with me and every visit that I've had has been horrible he refuses to answer questions spend time with me to explain or listen I have concerns about the surgery and he honestly does not care add drainage to for o... read more
