Worst VA in tbe country!!!!!! Staff and leadership are absolutely the neglect in every way possible. Ive been begging for help for my Ptsd which I was close to suicide. Dr Stacy kicked me out for my dog having diarrhea on tbe grass. She said word for word, " i should have scrubbed the grass" Dr. Nara has a vendetta against me and twice sent me away with minimal meds. She told me to go to the emergency room. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I MEET HATES THIS HOSPITAL AS WELL! THERE IS NO DIRECTOR RN BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO WORK HERE.

Great & Terrible experiences. I asked my Sheridan VA primary care doctor on Aug 2025 to visit a neurosurgeon for severe low bk pain, collapsed disc in the spine at L5 - S1, it is severely and painfully compressing the nerves, asked to see Neurosurgeon & finally Jan 2026 approved for doctor's visit on March 2026. Because of the extreme delay from the time I asked and the time that the consult actually went through, I visited the Community Care office twice to complain and to ask why it was taking so long. I’m a trucker over the road. forgot my BP meds. My home VA co-ordinates with this VA to pick up until I went back home. Well I get there and the AOD said the pharmacist needed to talk to me but wasn’t available then she said he was “under the hood”. I asked why she or him didn’t call me? They had a 3hr window before I arrived. She said she didn’t know what time I was coming. Again I asked why she didn’t call. I waited 2 hours for the pharmacist and my PTSD was triggered!. I was inpatient in bldg 87 for 56 days. I loved every second of it. I was in the pcod program. With linnae Taylor who in my opinion is the best lcsw I’ve ever had the privilege of working with.

Such a beautiful place to find yourself with the aid of nature and the staff .This VA hospital is the must go to.place with help for PTSD and other combat injuries. I recommend any one struggling to ask their therapist to send them to this VA.They know what they are doing.You have to be true to yourself and open up.It is a safe place to do it!
