Adding here that my symptoms for rheumatoid arthritis are significantly worse now than when I saw her. My GP is very concerned and referred me to the waitlist for OSU rheumatology. Dr. Hashmi refused to do labs or spend any time listening to me. She has no business practicing medicine with that kind of behavior. Spent no more than 10 minutes with me. Spent no more than 10 minutes with me. My GP sent me to her specifically to run new labs and provide greater expertise, but instead she gave me a brief fibromyalgia diagnosis, felt incredibly dismissive, and an outsized medical bill for very little help.
I will be seeking another rheumatologist. I’ve been experiencing health problems that are rapidly getting worse, and was hoping that she would order labs for me and do more extensive diagnostic testing. She asked a lot of questions and I felt that she had already made up her mind within the first five minutes of our appointment. Dr. Hashmi was dismissive and rude. One of the most unhelpful physicians I’ve ever encountered. Do not go here if you’re overweight, she will tell you nothing is wrong with you and you need to just work out. Beware if you have allergies to dogs, as there’s one in the office.
