Dr Sherbahn is very thorough. I am happy to say that my 8 year old daughter is a result of fertility treatments at Advanced Fertility in Gurnee with Dr Sherbahn.
Although I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a reproductive endocrinologist, he is retiring. Our experience was primarily with him, but I would also recommend others in his practice - Drs. Catenacci and Jones are outstanding as well.
Horrible treatment. We are a same sex couple that called for a consult regarding having our second child. After a $250 call, we decided to move forward with them. At that point, they told us they only accept sperm from 2 banks - our sperm is at Seattle Sperm Bank. I asked for a phone call with the head of the practice Dr. Sherbahn. His email: "There is nothing further to discuss. . . . If you do not agree with our policy then you certainly can seek fertility care at another clinic."
We are incredibly thankful to Dr. Sherbahn, Dr. Catenacci, Dr. Jones, the AFCC nurses and staff, all of whom played a huge part in our happy outcome. They were incredibly supportive and helpful during this entire process. Thank you all!
This doctor only cares about money. I did not like him or his clinic. He always put other doctors down and said his clinic was best. We have been to many infertility clinic but this was the worst experience. There is long wait. He does not take enough time with his patients.
We've been trying to get pregnant for over 3 years. We had 3 different clinics, but only with dr. Sherbahn we were able to got pregnant and it was our first ivf cycle with him. Now we are expecting two bundles of joy. THANK YOU DOCTOR!!!!!
Dr. Sherbahn was our fourth IVF doctor and our real last hope at starting a family. We had been to two doctors at FCI in Chicago and one at Northwestern. None gave us the type of information and statistics we received from Dr Sherbahn. The staff and nurses were very friendly and you always see the same nurse so you don't feel like a number here. I cannot say enough about Dr. Sherbahn and the Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago. He was the 3rd RE we visited and our 3rd IVF cycle. Dr. Sherbahn is knowledgeable, competent, and on time. Just look at his website! His staff is REMARKABLE. My nurse Diane was on the ball 100% of the time. EVERY PERSON at the clinic (Chicago and Gurnee) is friendly, caring, and compassionate. Even if my cycle didn't work (it did!), I'd still write a glowing review. Stop looking and GO SEE HIM!!
Two successful pregnancies with Dr. Sherbahn and AFCC via IUI. Overall, very good experience with this clinic.
