I should have done more research. I just checked in and already ready to check out. I used my points to book this hotel otherwise I would ask for a refund. I tried calling room service- no answer I tried calling the front desk- no answer There is only one person at the front checking in people with a line. Service is non existent. The room itself is far below expectations. Very old and also dirty. The HVAC system is super loud. Oh! And they only have one working elevator, so plan on at least ten minutes of wait. Stayed there a couple of time prior to out vacation to Cancun. We booked our stay this year a few weeks back. But walked up to the hotel and it is permanently closed.
So much water damage. The celings were collapsing floor seven to the lobby. Our room smelled of mold and sewage. Carpet had rips. The facility should be shut down!
I booked the room directly on the Marriot website and my reservation was cancelled with no warning and no notice from the hotel. I had to rebook and they didn't even match the price I had before.
