A cold business hotel and cater mainly for corporate travellers. So much so that kids under age of 18 are excluded from the executive club lounge. They do provide a family lounge at the lobby area but the quality of food is not up to usual standard expected of Sheraton and flies are circling the food stations. We ordered room service and was charged $60 for a pizza and salad. The breakfast though is good quality and the staff provided excellent services. And location is great in the heart of Sydney shopping belt.
If I could give zero stars for service , I would. Worst service imaginable. Really frustrating and slow. The cancellation policy is confusing. Do not do an online check in. Our flight was cancelled and despite cancelling the first night around 9am for check in at 2pm, we were out of pocket for the first night. Lesson: do not do an online check in! The room with an upgrade is adequate. The bathrooms are a bit dated. Beautiful Hyde Park views extending to the sea.
Absolutely loved my stay at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. The rooms were incredibly spacious and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
