Property is suffering from moisture & maintenance issues. We checked into a room that smelled moldy and had suspect build up on air vents. It took 3 engineers and 24 hours to move us into another room that did not have working air conditioning, and the same moldy air vents. After a second day we were finally placed into the correct suite we had originally booked, which had been hastily cleaned and had previous guests’ trash under the chaise lounge (surprise, moldy air vents for a third time!) Perfect place to stay in Sydney, very close to everything but yet located in the quiet part of CBD. The breakfast and dinner are amazing. If you plan to have a meal from the hotel, make sure you join their membership through marriot bonvoy program to get extra discount
Had a good stay with good location for everything. Be Warned!!! Physically check your bill before payment when checking-out. Do not use Express Check-out!!! The process of rectifying their errors takes a long time, after the payment is taken from your credit card. Eventually refund will be given, with a penalty, according to their Venue Manager, you will have to pay for the credit card surcharge on the refund amount.
