Warning - Do not work with this company!! I contracted with Chris Sheppard in January 2024. Gave him a down payment of $6200 dollars to replace hail managed windows. Since May he has not returned emails, phone calls or text messages. Colorado needs to change the law to make contractors licensed and bonded so consumers have more recourse!!
Have to agree with Emily. This has been a nightmare. Gave Chris $4600 as a down payment for a deck re-finish and 8 windows. That was on February 1st, 2024. Now, over 5 months later, deck is done, but no windows. No returns of phone calls or emails for the last few weeks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will have to sue him in court probably for the $2,000 I estimate he owes me.
This has been the nightmare contractor experience everyone dreads. We hired Chris to redo our roof and gutters, paint the house, and fix a few screens after hail damage. I wish I had paid attention to the warning signs - often had to call multiple times to get a call back, he ignored emails for weeks, and would show up 3 hours later than he said and sometimes not at all, with no communication. I wish these reviews could go into the negatives. DO NOT work with this company. They repaired our roof in 2017. In doing so they did a terrible job with the siding. We finally noticed and spent....4 months trying to contact them to come out for a repair quote for the insurance company. Finally, they came out in November; took a look and said they would be there to repair it the following week. Then they just disappeared.
