I was part of a study being done by Sheppard Pratt that required the implant of a device. Because the device was not FDA approved to treat my condition, my insurance wouldn't cover the surgical procedure to implant it. I was told that Sheppard Pratt would cover ALL EXPENSES for placement of the device. About a year after the surgery I started to get bills from the surgicenter for the surgery. Would give zero if I could
Recently had a staff member bring COVID to work and gave it to every patient on the unit. Discharged my roommate with a positive COVID test. The whole house has it now and we're immuno compromised. They don't care.
Good hospital for various psychiatric disorders. Nice and tranquil environment with trees.
Where I learned to keep ALL my problems to myself, because the world will punish you just for having them. 'Safety' is just a one-size-fits-all excuse to EVERYTHING they do. A place where you are as vulnerable as humanly possible, but no one there believes a word you have to say. I'll never tell another 'professional' anything important ever again.
