I have two large German shepherds that I have been taking to this clinic for at least six years. I love the fact that they advocate not vaccinating your dogs, after their puppy vaccinations. They titer my dogs every three years, at 10 years old my male German Shepherd still has immunity from his puppy vaccinations.Titering is pricy, but when you add up the cost of vaccinating your dogs every year when they don’t need it, and it could potentially affect their health, it really all equals out and it’s worth every penny. We have been taking our Maltese dog to Dr. Sheppard and his team for about 7 years and have seen a great improvement in his health. I especially love that they offer supplements to treat many issues. Before seeing Dr. Sheppard our dog would vomit monthly after taking the oral and topical medicines the other vet recommended. He never vomits anymore and is very healthy for his age. Four stars for the diet plan which helped my dog. Zero stars for customer service, flexibility and availability. Average = 2 stars. Very disappointed to be shamed for not buying my supplements through them when I didn't even know that was a requirement. Makes it feel like we are just another number.
My family and I have gone to Dr. Sheppard's office for many years. Recently we were told that we should go to another holistic vet by them because we didn't do follow up visits. I guess they must have changed their ways and don't want faithful loyal paying customers anymore. Anyways, the office never answers their phone and you must text to get ahold of someone.
