Avoid, avoid, avoid working with Shepherd! This management company feels like a not-from-this planet cash grab. Units are tiny and overpriced. Maintenance does not come. Leasing agents are incredibly difficult to get ahold of. They often do not answer the phone, do not respond to emails, and don’t open the door if you show up at the office and knock. The times I have interacted with them, the staff has been rude, blunt and unhelpful. Other neighbors experience being talked down to and ignored. This place is CRAAAZY!

Extremely affordable units with a professional and friendly staff. You can't beat the price or location. I had an amazing time staying here, and I hope you do too.

DO NOT RENT HERE – Building-Wide Cockroach Infestation, Bed Bugs, and Years of Gaslighting I’m sharing my experience in hopes of saving others from what I went through. Talked to an "agent" for weeks prior to viewing an apartment as they would not let me view the apartment until 60 days before the unit was available (which is fine). I saw the unit as soon as possible and told the agent I wanted to put the first months rent down immediately. They took a couple hours to send me the application and I filled it out and paid the fee.
