I’m a 69-year-old male. It’s difficult for me to fully articulate how grateful I am to Dr. Shepherd as my situation was unique. Great professional experience for my hernia surgery.
I went to SMH for a very bad Gallbladder and had the distinct pleasure of being treated by Dr. James Shepherd. Professional, thorough, informed me of everything being done, did it when he said he would and made me feel very secure and comfortable. His assistant, Kristi Drechsler, was professional, personable, informative and made me very comfortable during my post operation visit. I would highly recommend him and his team to everyone.
Went to hospital Sunday night had bad gall stones and needed my gallbladder removed,I had the surgery on Thursday around 1200 and was walking out the hospital door by 400.Dr Shepherd did a wonderful job on me.He and his staff was very professional
DO NOT GO TO HIM! I have never left a negative review online—until today. Last Friday, I had emergency gallbladder surgery while on vacation out of state. Over the weekend, I experienced excruciating pain. At discharge, I was specifically told to call the on-call doctor if I had severe pain, needed medication, or experienced complications.
