Wednesday evening my father fell walking into our home, he thought he could make it to the next day, however he couldn’t put any weight on his right hip. We live in Winchester, so naturally after it was decided we should seek emergency treatment for his injury, we went to Winchester Medical. The best hospital in our area. The nurses are beyond amazing and the doctors are worried about the patient and listen and do not treat you like a fool. Hands down the best
Absolutely horrible experience. I have an autoimmune disease and was very obviously having a flare up. I was having extreme swelling at the base of my neck. I went to the ER for immediate care because I was in excruciating pain and I also was very sick. They did swabs for my sickness and a chest xray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia. Not once did they check my neck, no matter how many times I said I was in pain and very badly swollen. recent increase in thyroid meds. Go to ER for racing heart, palpitations, refused to check my thyroid levels. Next work day, contact my Doc, also at Valley Health, ask to get my levels checked, explain I was in the ER, still will not send an order to check my levels..... Called 3 Endocrinologist, all of them were flabbergasted it was not checked at the ER, and my Docs refusal. Stay Away People. They are not interested in helping you, only in billing your insurance.
