I will die in my home before I ever go back there again. I barely hobbled across the parking lot at 2am with severe back pain, already having rods and bots in my back. Immediately taken into a room I was given a pill and a shot in the arm, then left alone. 45 min later I was checked up on and said I was in Severe pain ... was given a rolled up sheet as a pillow because apparently they were short on pillows and told I would be fine. I am surprised by some of the reviews on here. We moved here after many years in Northern VA meaning busy hospitals with very long waits and at times employees whose command of the English language could leave a bit to be desired. I spent a week here and received nothing but excellent care. Heck, even the cleaning staff visited every morning and left a freshly cut Rose. I was sent home with pneumonia. I was misdiagnosed & suffered needlessly for several weeks before returning. My elderly friend Robbie Cloyd was sent home after breaking his hip. He also was misdiagnosed & suffered needlessly. I will never trust the E.R. here!
Are you scared?, Are you dying? Do you need efficient medical assistance? Well then RUN!!! all the way to Winchester or Harrisonburg cause Woodstock is not the hospital for you. CONS -Incompetent ER Doctor -ER Fails to put in orders for testing that can only be done in the morning. -Getting any testing will feel like pulling teeth -ER Doctors have unprofessional doctor patient relation.
