I went to Dr Shen for cleanings when I lived in Sacramento. In my experience she was pretty straightforward, did a good job with cleanings, and didn’t try to sell treatments you didn’t need, unlike a lot of other dentists.
Very friendly and excellent work. Highly recommend!
Absolutely without a doubt. The best dentist I have ever had. She's very personable and welcoming and always explained every procedure that was performed. Recently I mistakenly pulled off a temporary crown after the office closed. I left a message with Dr Shen and she called within the hour to set up a time to come in the next day. Her staff is so friendly and helpful and I was told by one of them that she is the best boss ever. You will not be sorry should you choose this doctor.
I had to go on deni-cal for a while after I was no longer eligible to be under my parents (age 24). It was horrifying. For years after, I was paying out of pocket for the dentist I've seen my whole life because it was worth it (I'm 33 now), even with a generous discount. Still expensive though, so my teeth got pretty bad. Couple years later and I was once again on a great plan. My former dentist was booked out for months and months.
