I brought my 3 week old puppy, born with a cleft palette to Gary Shelton. There was only a small chance that he could be saved and live a normal, happy life. With all the love and care given to this puppy by myself, and the entire staff of both the Bunnell and Elkton offices, "Chance" is a beautiful and Healthy 9 month old, 72 lb, very active boy. Words can not express the gratitude i hold in my heart. Thank you Gary and everyone who participated in his care, surgery and recovery.
Took my. Babby goat there with a torn tendon. Everyone was super great with Tip. The one receptionist even got down on the floor and played with him
My heart was broken today. To first give my dog a "lethal dose of medication meant for a dog double her weight, more than you've ever seem administered to an animal" (the words of the doctor who prescribed it) and then watch her suffer the last couple of days until she could no longer stand, eat or move. The way it was handled today was something out of a horror film. Although I stayed calm and quite cordial, except for the many tears, I am angry and grieving. Dr. Shelton was very thorough and professional when he came out to see my horse. Sincere and caring, I would recommend Shelton Veterinary Clinic to anyone in the area with companion animals. They have also treated our dogs and goats.

Been using Gary Shelton and his vet clinics since 93. Excellent care for all animals and cost is easily 25-30 percent less than any Vet services anywhere. I had a quick inquiry about a flea med and my messenger question was answered after hours within minutes. The Best !!
Took my SICK dog in this morning and the lady at front desk asked me what I needed. I told her my dog was sick ( mind you I have three dogs that go there)... She stated doctor wouldnt be in till 9 and left it at that. Did t ask me what was wrong, didn't ask my name, didn't ask if I wanted to come back later. Needless to say they lost a customer today due to lady at front desk.
