My husband and I love Dr McCarthy, that being said when she moved from the Charlotte Hall location to a new practice in Waldorf under the medstar umbrella I am unable to get a sick visit without being considered a new patient. I'm not sure what the justification behind this decision is, but I shouldn't be considered a new patient because I've seen her before. And I certainly shouldn't have to wait over a week for a sick appointment.
I love that Dr. McCarthy sits and actively listens to your concerns. I never feel rushed and she genuinely cares.
Excellent visit!!! Took more than the typical time to get all of my concerns addressed. Best pcp visit I have a very experienced.
