I am so happy Shelly was recommended to me for breast feeding support! She helped me better understand how to feed my baby and troubleshoot issues that we were having that were constantly changing as my baby was growing and with my milk supply changing. I was impressed with how knowledgeable she was about breast feeding and how much information she provided from our sessions. I am happy to now understand how to properly feed my baby for our special circumstances after just a couple visits with Shelly. Highly recommend her!
Phoebe was kind and informative with me and my baby during my lactation consulting process. She took the time to understand my situation and helped steer me in the right direction of how to move forward. She is the right type of person to see during a time that is so delicate. I certainly hope I’ll be following up in the future when it is time to wean off breastfeeding/pumping.
Shelly is a miracle worker!!! I went to her after going to a couple of IBCLCs before, she is truly the best at what she does. She quickly found the root of the issues we were having and is truly an expert. She spent more time with us than all of the others combined. I had nearly given up hope on breastfeeding prior to working with her but after a couple of visits we had it all figured out!
We came to see Phoebe when our son was 5 days old. He was not nursing well and losing weight. She suggested to us to supplement with a bottle and nurse him 2-3 times a day. This decision lead us to switch to bottles completely at 3 weeks old. We came with a goal to exclusively breastfeed and did not get enough support. As a first time mom there are a lot of questions that come with breast feeding. However, after working with Phoebe from Shelly Taft I have been able to nurse my baby with confidence and pump efficiently. Phoebe was very informative while also listening to my concerns. She ensured my baby had a proper latch and also gave me insight into how much he was consuming per feed.
