Going on a week without hot water. I suspect the technician who came "disabled" my system because prior, it was running rough but would still start and I could have a hot shower. Was told by the tech that it would be $1000+ to repair, Before he could do the work he was there to do. I told him yes and to order the part. Monday the next week I call back after not hearing any update. They tell me they can come tomorrow and fix it even if they have to repair the broken part. Recently had annual AC service on a 4 year old unit installed by Shellhorn and Hill. The tech did not have a replacement capacitor on his truck. Tech said to call back to schedule the replacement. Capacitors cost $10 to $20 retail and take 10 minutes to change. I called to schedule the replacement. Howard (a great tech) came out and replaced the unit in about 10 minutes.
