I went to Norton Gastro office for a second opinion. I have been waiting over a year to get into this office. I have had UC since I was 4 years old. I am now 29, ready to start a family and I’m having the worst flare yet. I truly just wanted some questions answered and a second opinion of treatment options. My daughter Kelsey Short came to your office this week after waiting for almost one year. She was seeking for a second opinion. Diagnosed with UC when she was 4 years old and is now 29 and experiencing her worst flair up ever. Ms Shelley Wooldridge perhaps you should consider yourself being the patient and how you would feel if treated so poorly. You clearly have no compassion for people .Shame on you!! A patient comes into your office seeking help with their medical condition and you do absolutely nothing. HEARTLESS!!
Was called around 4pm the day before my appointment and told I was "too complex" to be seen. So I was canceled. Pretty sure there are fines and warnings when a patient does this! I was not treated like a person, I was not given the time of day, not given any specific reason of any sort, was called not by Wooldridge but someone who kept saying "I'm just the messenger," and I had to push hard to get rescheduled at all with a different doctor in the same office. Shelley was incredible. She spoke to me with respect and care. She saw my frustration and reassured me that she was there to help figure things out. For the first time out of many doctors I feel like I have someone in my corner. Even if my issue ends up being something not within her realm I am very grateful I had the opportunity to meet her.
