He greeted us at check-in and gave us some great tips for nearby amenities. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. I just have to say....this place is AMAZING! The rooms are perfectly decorated with all the amenities, the pool atmosphere with music, blankets, fireplaces, is inviting and relaxing...walking distance to great places to eat and have some cocktails...but the owners, are hands down THE BEST!! Dave and Jodi make you feel like you are staying in their home, not a hotel. This will be my place to stay until I get to move there!
Dave and Jodi are awesome. The motel has been fully remodeled. They did an beautiful job. All the rooms have a different look. We went with friends and booked all 10 rooms. We were in room 9. It was very clean and very comfortable.I love all little touches. Microwave, mini fridge coffee pot with great coffee. The mugs are nice and big. Every room was personally decorated by the owner to give you a restful and fun visit. The beach is a short walk away. Friendly service. Pismo Beach is a beautiful, quintessential California beach community.
We had an amazing trip. The owners are super nice and helpful. Room was newly remodeled and so nice. My son loved the pool which was heated to 85 and perfect with the cool weather. Fire pit and heaters all around the pool and a nice seating area. Not one complaint. Would definitely stay again. And a huge thank you for the bottle of wine. ❤️
LOOK FOR ANOTHER HOTEL. We had 2 rooms for 2 families. The hotel pool was down the day prior, and when our girls went into the pool the next day, they had a bad chemical reaction all over their skin from their pool chemicals. This is affected 4 children! They could not keep still and cried. It took several hours, 4+ showers, and medication to make them feel themselves. And what did the hotel do? NOTHING. No apology from the manager. Went to Pismo for my birthday weekend to spend time with the folks and they paid for and picked this hotel for my wife and I and for themselves. Shell Beach Inn is a very nice, quaint and quiet lil 10 unit motel. the owners are Super friendly and happy to assist you with anything. The owners of this place actually go to the length of greeting you by name. They even bought me a 6 pack of my favorite soda as a gift for my birthday.
