It was a good little country restaurant off the side of the road that has been opened since 1940! Loved the western omelette that the wonderful waitress gave me, she was so good!
We had an annual after Christmas family dinner here again tonight. There were 40 of us and we had a private room and all eat from the buffet. The food was better than last year, not to well seasoned but overall good food. The sweet potatoes were terrific as always. Like the addition of the dessert selections. Service was good, the young ladies were very friendly and provided really good, caring service. Over all a very pleasant evening.
Sheldon's got the come up. My brother in-law bought my dinner tonight. I can honestly say that I had a good meal and plenty of it. We both had the buffet which included much to choose from. Since it is Friday I started with the fish, boiled potatoes, greens, black eye peas and stewed tomatoes. That all went down well so I decided to finish with some more fish and fresh baked spoon bread made by Betty Baldwin. She says that she usually makes it on Thursday and Friday.
