He's checking to see if the implant can support a crown that fits my smile. The one he gave me doesn't Says that he could only do a small crown because of yadayadayada. He never told me beforehand that implant teeth needed to be smaller than the teeth around it. I spent thousands of dollars for this crown, and it maybe fits someone else's mouth but not mine. I hope he can show this to the person he's checking with. I'll take this away if he finds he can do this right.
I went to dental office with complaint of sensitivity. Doctor Kupferman asked dental assistant to take six x-rays. The Dental Assistant was rough during the process of preparation of x-rays. She was not careful while placing x-ray films in the oral cavity that resulted painful scratch and sore of oral mucosa on the upper left lingual side. I only went for a cleaning, x-rays and exam and was very pleased with everything. My teeth looked great and, after the exam, Dr. Kupferman gave me a comprehensive review of my dental situation (which confirmed what my old dentist in my old neighborhood had said - that is, no problems now, but will keep a watch on a few areas). I'm new to the Riverdale neighborhood and am happy that I have been able to find a good dentist.
Dr. Kupferman is an excellent dentist. Knowledgeable, and technically proficient, he is patient -- he will take his time explaining your options. Note that I wrote the cost was 'very expensive", but that's because he doesn't accept my dental insurance. I am fortunate to be able to pay out of pocket, even for some fairly complicated procedures. As a health care professional, I can tell you that there is no substitute for competence. Dr. Kupferman is a superb dentist. Period.
So far so good. I wanted a local dentist and found one a few blocks away. He has been excellent with fear & pain management and has been very accommodating.
From the moment you call to make your appointment, you are treated like family and are top priority. Dr. Sheldon is gentle and honest. A wonderful experience coming from someone who had a real phobia.
I found the doctor and his staff to be very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend him.
