Great pool!
The Family Activity Center is a hidden gem that I hope all residents and visitors to Shelby County check out for themselves. The rates are very reasonable for all that they offer. Get yourself a daily pass next time you are in Shelbyville!
Great place for you and your children to get fit and have fun
This review is mainly about the staff that works there the park itself is wonderful. The old man that runs the lake has to be the most rude person to ever work there. He has no business dealing with customers. Then they changed prices on canoe rentals. Use to it was ten dollars for half day now it's 8 dollars an hour. That park system is determined to price the average person away from being able to enjoy the park.
I went to the pool for the first time and was sitting on the side of the pool. My hands were on the silver part when I rubbed my fingers against the side... there was slimy stuff all over my hand. It looked like dead skin build up. It was all along the pool. Very gross.
Signed my son up for t-ball and received no communication about start time or any type of schedule. I went in to check on it and they told me to hang tight, and I would receive information end of May. I emailed June 7 because I had still not heard anything and came to find out the season had already started, and he missed the first game. For a league I paid to be a part of, their lack of communication is unacceptable.
