Horribly managed by a group of women who seem to have an obvious prejudice against handicapped individuals and families with more than 1 child. There are a couple of office workers that have been kind and respectful, but it displeases me to report that the wretched attitude from the other is far from being cancelled out by the smiles and pleasantries of the good hearted ones. I read the reviews, but went to check it out anyway. After scheduling a tour and wasting my time, we were told there were no openings. They could have saved us the visit.
Upon move in you’re told one thing then another happens. They tell you about parking but it’s not enforced so don’t plan on having a parking spot. You’re lied to, it’s just all around a messy place.
Avoid Shelby Oaks – Poor Management & Maintenance Issues If you’re considering moving into Shelby Oaks, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. My experience living there was frustrating due to poor management, subpar maintenance, and serious concerns about the quality of the apartments.
