The woman at the front “desk” did not understand English. The beds did seem clean but the room was smelly The tub was gross. The heater was the usual wall unit but it had no cover it was so dirty that I was scared to turn it on being scared of spiders,roaches or fire.
This place has man dressed like a woman cleaning the room it’s really sick thing to look at . I would not recommend that no one should stay here . the room I was in had a leaking toilet the bathroom door was coming apart and the a/c mad a very bad noise. And the tv remote did not work and there ice machine was not working I had to go buy a bag of ice from the store down the street. But it’s really bad to have a he she cleaning the rooms. I will never stay here again. Good luck if you stay there
The last time I checked the Alabama Sex Registry there were 9 registered sex offenders residing at the Shelby Motor Lodge. A fact that is not disclosed to guests.
I think it was very clean and comfortable. the lady at office was nice and gave my husband and I New microwave for our room. we enjoyed our stay.
Bedbugs, dead bugs, dirty sheets, leaking tubs, mushy carpet, and no parking, but most of all bedbug infestions
